At that level yes we then look at the chart of a logical place to structure a new short trade.  Has to be a logical trade idea with a defined stopped.

Next support at 5800 - 5500. We'll see where it plays out. I still have to watch your video Bob (looking forward to that in downtime). On a sidenote I sold ETC at 17.20+ and bought in @ 13+. Feeling good on that one. Still own a couple BTC and some XRP. The market follows BTC so I wouldn't buy anything right now. Wait and watch imho.

Thanks so much Bob! Your analysis, though bleak, has really helped me to be more defensive in this bear market and has already saved me probably 10 times the cost of the subscription so it is much appreciated! Just had a quick question, what is your preferred method to short bitcoin? Is it through Bittrex or the futures market or some other means?

Watched the vid. Great analysis. Question: Why is your most recent cycle low placed there? Previously there were a couple bumps upward. Was it because the bump up after this cycle low was a bit more sustained? I believe I have seen BTC drop from 1000 to around 100 in the past and that leads me to conclude that BTC can go from 20000 down to 2000 as well. It is possible. Looking forward to your coming 20 weeks of material.

Thanks Bob. I figure you're using linear scale as I was trying to replicate the lines on your graph. Any particular view on log vs linear scale?

Linear for short term. Log for long. My longer term weekly chart should have been flipped over.

Is the current down cycle going to be 57 days long or is there a range to consider? In other words, is a down cycle 50-60 days long or can it be longer or short? Any guidelines?
